Our Great Photo

Does it ever seem like you walk on a dry and dusty planet? LIfe is mundane and your days are filled with routine and sameness? You mentally ascent to the reality that you do indeed have purpose, but even though you know this you are filled with a small nagging sense of despair?

While I used to have that feeling long ago, I haven't experienced it for nearly 3 1/2 years. The day that the Paleo came to work at Positive Action was the day life got abundantly interesting.

Take yesterday for example. I'm sitting in my office working away, when I hear a tap tap tap at the door. I politely said, "come in."

Lo and behold, it was the Paleo (or as we like to call him, "Master P."). Immediately my day got interesting because it appeared as though the Paleo had something to offer me. I will tell you that what he had to offer was far beyond what I could ever imagine.

It was a dustpan FILLED with the locks from the Paleo's head. Not just a few strands or even a small bunch, but an entire dust pan full!

I wasn't quite sure how to respond, as you can imagine. Immediately my flesh took over and I began to think of how much money that hair would be worth. I could practically launch an entire TV ministry network to sell strands from his scalp to the multitudes who would sell all to obtain a few. But, alas, I was speechless and he promptly turned as I was stuttering and stammering to take his treasure to the waste basket.

Life is certainly not dull for me.

The authors of this blog would like to inform its readership of an incredible opportunity that you can participate in. We have obtained information that has been verified and cross-checked for accuracy...Paleoevangelical WILL BE PRESENT AT SHEPHERDS CONFERENCE 2006!

After the overwhelming response to "our GREAT photo" we have decided that it would be wrong for us to experience the thrill of standing shoulder to shoulder with Paleo (if we can be so bold as to call him that) without doing everything within our power to provide YOU, our loyal readership, with the very same opportunity. Therefore, we are now officially accepting requests for photo ops at this year's Shepherds Conference. In addition, we have reason to believe he may sign any of his posts that you print out and bring with you.

Just imagine...you and Paleo forever captured through the magic of digital photography.

Please remember that we are still in negotiations with his staff and cannot confirm exact details about this opportunity. All requests will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis (we are expecting an enormous volume of requests and have therefore contacted Google (blogspot) to make sure their servers are ready for the influx of comments to our blog).

It has been our experience that blogs in general lack clarity and purpose. Well, let there be no mistake, this blog has one purpose and only one. It is not to serve as a diary or commentary on current events. Theology will have no part of this blog. The singular purpose and focus of this blog is to display our favorite picture.

Thank you for viewing our picture. Feel free to come back as many times as you like (although as we mentioned before the content will never be updated). You do have our permission and authorization to reproduce this picture for your own use or the benefit of the general public.

We also grant permission to those of you who would desire to Photoshop yourself into this picture and post it on your own site. We only ask that if you do, you leave us a comment linking to your site.

HT (apparently that means "hat tip" in blog lingo): Special thanks to Rick Holland and the Resolved Conference for this most wonderful photo op.

Don't forget to bookmark this site for easy return.
